Think about Thinking!

Think about your hopes for those who don’t follow Jesus. What would be the most common way you pray for them to turn their lives to follow Christ?

For me it would be revelation, faith, a receptive heart, dissatisfaction with the world and the status quo … etc. etc.

Jesus said “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.”  John 6:44-45 (I added the emphasis)

So, as FEBC broadcasts go out into the listening ears of people in China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Iraq, Yemen, India, … I am now praying for “thinking” and “learning” among other things  – that millions would gain real knowledge as they engage their reason and logic, as well as their heart. This sits well with Jesus’ other command in Mark 12:30 to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind and all your strength.”  (I added the emphasis again J )
